ABOUT US
Phi Phi Chapter, known as the Millennium chapter, was charted on December 9, 2000. Our chapter serves the communities of Clarendon, Calhoun, Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter counties.
Guided by our motto, "Service for Humanity", we participate in several programs in the counties we serve. The following are some of the programs where we have provided health education, served through community service and donations.

Kidney Sunday has been provided in several churches in our coverage area. Follow-up calls are made to those with elevated readings during the hypertension screenings.

Feed My Starving Children is a program where we help pack meals for over 400,000 children in need of meals across the world.

We participate in Career Day at the middle, and high school levels and career fairs offered in the Sumter School District.

Go Red for Women's Heart Month - Prisma Health annual Heart Health Walk.

The Tetralogy of Fallot Heart Awareness and Community Heart Screening with Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church.

We spearheaded a Health Fair in September 2019, which included HIV screening, Flu vaccinations given by Walgreens, Live Zumba and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) demonstrations, and healthy eating consultation. Vendors included jewelry, clothing, and beauty products.
The year 2020 brought its challenges, but we continued our motto differently. We participated by Zoom in the following programs:

Gave presentations to the Midlands Fatherhood Coalition Partnership to include: Men's General Health, general health and STDs, and substance abuse Category 1 & 2.

Kidney Sunday, diabetes and hypertension health, COVID-19, "Breast Cancer Awareness" Morris College Upward Bound Students and Sponsors, and "Our Hearts" Morris College Upward Bound Students and Sponsors presentations were done.

We partnered with The Midlands of South Carolina Black Nurses Association, Inc., The South Carolina Nurses Association, The South Carolina Student Nurses Association along with Delta Eta, Zeta Eta Eta and Upsilon Phi Chapters of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. to sponsor a 4-part webinar (March -June 2021) "A Collaborative Approach to Address Racism in Nursing".

We are currently working with the University of SC School of Nursing to plan a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Nursing Summit in 2022.
